Senior Investment Analyst
Xiaojun Si is a senior investment analyst at Aquamarine Investment Partners. He participates in the financial diligence of asset acquisitions for the firm in power generation, power storage, transportation, data center, commercial real estate, student housing and other related asset classes.
Mr. Si assisted in the fundraise of the North American Real Asset Fund I including investor relations, financial analysis, and deal due diligence. Mr. Si also assisted with due diligence in the closing of the US $1 billion investment to re-develop a trophy office building in Manhattan. He supported the financial and market diligence process for the acquisition of a $166 million national student housing portfolio with over 3,000 units. Additionally, he is responsible for market research on target asset classes and prepares investment memorandums and financial models for the investment committee.
Prior to joining Aquamarine Investment Partners, Mr. Si participated in strategic consulting for a Chinese leading liquor company to expand their business in the United States. He analyzed entry pathways into the U.S. liquor market, developed marketing strategies,and explored distribution channels.
Mr. Si graduated from Central University of Finance and Economics with a Bachelor Degree in Real Estate Management, and received his master degree in Project Management from Stevens Institute of Technology.
